Kuaikan Manhua Unveils Digital Life Strategy, AI Product Livo Set for July Beta

KuaiKan Comics revealed during the AI New Audio-Visual Special Session at the 2026 Tencent AI Industrial Application Conference that it is developing an AI digital life product called "Livo," set to begin public beta testing in July this year.
The product is spearheaded by KuaiKan Comics founder Chen Anni, who acts as the "First Architect" overseeing the project. The objective is to leverage AIGC technology to convert 13,000 comic IPs on the platform into a self-sustaining digital life world. Livo has now entered demo internal testing, with patent and legal applications for its visual content proceeding in parallel.
As a significant foray into AIGC, Livo is positioned as a "soulful digital life platform" equipped with perception, hearing, and real-time interaction capabilities. Technically, the product is built on a foundational AI operating system that powers a "Soul Engine Agent" comprising three core infrastructure components: identity, memory, and personality.
Additionally, it employs a multi-Agent storytelling system to construct a four-layer narrative framework, fostering the spontaneous emergence and autonomous operation of virtual social forms. Livo also introduces a "Deep Feeling" emotional response mechanism that is both perceptible and explainable, letting users intuitively grasp character emotion shifts and underlying motivations.
Amid the ongoing technological paradigm shift, Livo is poised to move beyond traditional chapter-based payment and membership subscription models, transitioning instead to "experience payment" and "relationship payment." This shift is expected to substantially raise the upper ceiling of user ARPPU.
From an industry standpoint, this fusion of "digital life" and "open world" is creating a new paradigm characterized by visualized virtual characters, real-time storytelling, and cross-modal interactive experiences. It could spark another round of narrative perspective transformation and industrial advancement in the new audio-visual sector.
