Apple Unveils AI Assistant for Employee Sales Training and Support
Apple is set to launch its new sales training application, "Sales Coach," on February 23rd local time. The app will be rolled out to employees at Apple Stores and authorized resellers globally, succeeding the legacy internal tool SEED. It will be accessible via iPhone, iPad, and the web at salescoach.apple.com, remaining an internal resource and not available to the public.

Tailored specifically for sales training, Sales Coach will equip frontline staff with extensive product knowledge resources and sales guidance. This includes practical materials like the rationale behind promoting the latest iPhone, in-depth analysis of iPad key features, and more—all designed to help employees enhance their service expertise and sales performance.
Compared to the previous SEED tool, this application features two major core upgrades. First, it adopts the new Liquid Glass design language unveiled by Apple at WWDC25. This design utilizes dynamic light reflections, translucent textures, and real-time rendering to reimagine the interface, delivering a more spatial and airy visual experience. It also marks a significant adoption of this design language within Apple's internal tools. Second, future versions of the app are planned to include an AI chatbot feature. Integrated into the app's "Ask" tab, this will allow employees to instantly query product-related information, such as the standout features of the iPhone Air or how to use the Instant Hotspot function on a Mac. It is not yet confirmed whether the bot will leverage Apple's own AI models, like the multimodal Manzano model, or rely on a third-party platform such as a customized version of Google's Gemini.
Notably, Apple is advancing its AI application strategy concurrently for both business and consumer audiences. Alongside developing this AI assistant for internal teams via Sales Coach, the company also plans to gradually introduce similar public-facing chatbot features within the consumer Apple Support app, further strengthening its comprehensive, intelligent service ecosystem.
