Bayer is crafting a radiology platform designed to help not just themselves but other multinational bioscience companies develop and deploy AI-centric healthcare apps. These apps will assist radiologists with data analysis, intelligent search, and the creation of documents that comply with healthcare regulations needed for approval. By using this platform, apps can boost efficiency and speed up diagnosis times, ultimately improving patient outcomes.
Best Buy is harnessing Google Cloud’s technology, including its Gemini models, to introduce new and more user-friendly ways to meet customer needs. Starting this summer, U.S. customers will have the option to interact with a generative AI-powered virtual assistant capable of troubleshooting product issues, rescheduling order deliveries, managing Geek Squad subscriptions or memberships, and more. Best Buy is also set to roll out new gen AI-enabled features to aid customer service and frontline staff in serving customers better across the country.
Cintas, a top provider of uniforms and facilities services, is employing Google Cloud’s Vertex AI Search to build its own gen AI-powered search engines. Discover Financial is using Vertex AI to equip its nearly 10,000 contact center agents with gen AI-driven tools. These tools feature capabilities like intelligent document summarization, which helps analyze and summarize complex policies and procedures. The rollout began in early 2024, and initial results indicate that agents can cut call handle times and improve policy and procedure search times by up to 70 percent, allowing them to spend more time assisting customers.
IHG Hotels and Resorts is developing a generative AI-powered chatbot to simplify vacation planning directly within the IHG One Rewards mobile app. The new chat experience is designed to ask proactive questions and provide recommendations that are more tailored and personalized to the user.
Mercedes-Benz is enhancing its online storefront with e-commerce capabilities through a gen AI-powered smart sales assistant, along with improved search and recommendation features to help customers better discover Mercedes' vehicles and offerings. Mercedes also plans to use Google Cloud AI to enhance its call center experience and is employing AI tools, including Vertex AI and Gemini, to make its marketing campaigns more personalized and relevant to customers.
WPP, a creative transformation company, is integrating Google Cloud’s gen AI capabilities into its intelligent marketing operating system, WPP Open. This empowers both its staff and clients to achieve higher levels of personalization, creativity, and efficiency. This includes using Gemini 1.5 Pro models to enhance the accuracy and speed of content performance predictions. WPP is also advancing its video description solutions by exploring real-time streaming capabilities with Gemini Pro 1.5 for both description and narration, including voice generation using ElevenLabs.
