Zhou Hongyi, founder of 360 Group, issued a company-wide letter on August 17 announcing the firm’s full-scale transition into an AI-native organization. He stated that all managers are responsible for developing “super individuals” and building strong teams, noting this is not just a leadership upgrade but a re-entrepreneurship driven by AI. The letter outlines three requirements for managers: driving innovation to accelerate business progress, reshaping roles from approval machines to coaches for team members, and continuously learning AI skills themselves. Performance evaluations will now include quantifiable goals such as at least one AI product or innovation, one process reengineered via AI, and one personal achievement using AI. 360 is also adjusting its structure (flatter hierarchy, more focus on grassroots innovation, faster AI transformation in R&D) and adding new graduates to support the shift. This move positions 360’s management at the forefront of AI adoption and serves as a practical example for domestic tech firms to transform beyond tool-based approaches to organizational restructuring.
