Floqer’s AI Agents Research Sales Prospects So Teams Don’t Have To
Floqer operates as an autonomous customer knowledge platform, empowering B2B sales and marketing teams with an AI-driven database that continuously gathers, organizes, and updates critical customer insights.
Floqer is set to pitch on the Startup Battlefield stage at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 this Wednesday. Ahead of the event, the startup revealed to TechCrunch its intention to open-source the technology powering its autonomous customer knowledge database, with a targeted release in early 2027, subject to final security reviews.
Additionally, Floqer reports exceeding $1.2 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR), marking a tenfold growth in overall revenue over the past year.
Co-founded by CEO Shivam Mahajan and Zaaheda Islam, who met during their university years, the company draws on Mahajan’s background as a software engineer at Kyndryl and Islam’s experience as a senior data scientist at Axis Capital.
Floqer’s initial product bore little resemblance to its current offering. “We began with a Chrome extension called ‘Super Chat,’” Mahajan explained in an interview earlier this month. “Users could log in with their ChatGPT account to extract information and take notes.”
The founders quickly observed that enterprise clients were repurposing the extension to clean up data within their customer relationship management (CRM) systems. Discussions with these clients revealed that maintaining clean CRM data was largely a manual effort, lacking standardized processes for keeping customer records current.
“When we spoke with them, they highlighted how manual it was to clean CRM data, noting there were no established workflows for this,” Mahajan recalled. “That insight prompted our pivot to build Floqer.”

The challenge Floqer addresses is familiar to sales and revenue operations professionals. Identifying potential customers often requires hours of searching across Google, LinkedIn, company websites, job boards, and other sources to find companies matching a specific profile, followed by locating the right contacts and their details.
Floqer seeks to automate much of this research. Users can define their criteria, and the platform’s AI agents scour various sources to generate lists of relevant companies and contacts.
The company states its system enriches accounts by adding details about target companies using over 100 third-party data sources. For verified email addresses or phone numbers, Floqer employs a “waterfall” method, querying one data provider after another until usable information is found.
The system also continuously monitors the web for changes. Updates such as a prospect changing jobs, receiving a promotion, or their company securing new funding are automatically reflected in the user’s customer records.
Floqer describes its technology as a fleet of AI agents that continuously research companies, individuals, and customer interactions, eliminating the need for manual prospecting. According to the company, customers have reported reducing prospecting time by up to 70%.
“Our autonomous customer knowledge database is currently available to a limited audience, primarily due to the capacity of our team to serve demand effectively,” Mahajan stated. “However, open-sourcing it will help us scale.”
This decision responds partly to customer feedback. Mahajan noted that some companies prefer hosting their own data rather than relying on a vendor’s proprietary platform, while others wish to modify or build upon the technology.
“Our mission is to enable every team to establish their central source of growth,” Mahajan emphasized.
Before making the database publicly available, Floqer is conducting thorough security reviews, as the database contains sensitive customer information and is already used by large enterprises.
Floqer was established in 2024 and has secured $2 million in pre-seed funding, with investments from Perplexity’s F7 Fund, N49P, Tidal Venture Partners, and Perplexity co-founder Denis Yarats. The company now employs eight people and serves over 1,000 customers, including Perplexity, Wise, and AngelList.
