Zhiyi LS8 with Alibaba's Qwen AI Powers Intelligent Driving in Global Pre-Sales Launch

Automobiles are transforming from mere modes of transport into intelligent entities capable of perception and independent decision-making. On March 18, the company unveiled the industry's first Ultra Intelligent Agent: IM Ultra Agent. This launch signifies not only a major commitment to AI development but also establishes the company as the first automotive brand to deploy such advanced technology.
"Fusion of Cockpit and Driving": Eliminating Hardware and Algorithm Silos
Traditional smart vehicles often run driving assistance and cockpit systems in isolation. The company's newly introduced IM Fusion Nova intelligent architecture achieves an industry-first "full-stack integration." This framework seamlessly connects three core systems: the vehicle's drive-by-wire chassis, the driving AI, and the cockpit AI. This enables the car's central nervous system to process driving data and user interaction needs in a unified, brain-like manner.
The Catalyst for a 20-Fold Performance Leap
Complementing its proprietary architecture, the company has deployed a powerful new tool for its driving algorithm. Through the co-developed IM AD ZETA system, the new vehicle utilizes the latest reinforcement learning large model. This model offers up to a 20x performance increase over current models, resulting in more human-like and decisive decision-making in complex traffic scenarios.
IM LS8 Pre-sales Officially Announced
Alongside this AI integration, the company confirmed that its new model, the IM LS8, will commence pre-sales on March 26.
As top-tier language models enter the cockpit and reinforcement learning models redefine assisted driving, IM is leveraging its deep expertise in "software-defined vehicles" to set new benchmarks for premium smart electric SUVs.
Supply chain partnerships are also expanding. A recent strategic agreement with China Insurance provides global partners, including IM, with more competitive overseas business protection. Driven by both AI and new energy innovation, the global expansion and evolution of Chinese smart cars is entering a pivotal phase.
