Tencent WorkBuddy Launches on HarmonyOS PC App Market
On July 27, Zhang Jun, Tencent’s public relations director, announced the official launch of the company’s AI office assistant, WorkBuddy , on the HarmonyOS PC app market. This marks the debut of the first desktop AI agent within the HarmonyOS ecosystem. The development team worked closely with HarmonyOS experts to address key scenarios, including system login, device connectivity, skill execution, and product previews, while rapidly completing system-level permission adaptations.

Leveraging HarmonyOS’s core capabilities, WorkBuddy introduces a “Touch & Share” feature unavailable on other major platforms. As a native AI-powered desktop tool, it spans 17 industries, supports over 140 AI applications, and integrates 22,000 plugins. This HarmonyOS PC release highlights Tencent’s commitment to building an AI agent ecosystem and underscores HarmonyOS’s robust infrastructure for handling complex AI tasks, driving desktop productivity toward smarter, seamless solutions.
