As humanoid robots capture growing interest from global technology leaders, investors, and industrial players, China's top five humanoid developers will convene in South Korea for the first time next week.
Smart Factory & Automation World (AW) 2026, described as "Asia's premier manufacturing AX expo," has confirmed participation from AGIBOT, Fourier, Huawei, Leju, and Unitree. These firms will showcase their innovations and speak at the China Humanoid Robot Conference—also titled "China Humanoid: First Journey to Korea"—an affiliated event of AW 2026.
"This gathering of world-class humanoid robotics companies in Korea represents more than just a conference. It signals the beginning of intensified worldwide competition in the humanoid robotics sector, with Korea positioned as a central hub," event organizers stated.
Chinese Humanoid Firms to Address Global Technology Trends
"China is already established as a leading market for advanced humanoid robots, with pilot deployments and commercial applications expanding across public, industrial, and service sectors," conference organizers noted. "The five companies attending this event in Korea are key contributors to China's humanoid robotics ecosystem."
Jiang Chengyi, Head of Solutions at Unitree; Zhou Bin, Co-Founder of Fourier; and Ren Guangjie, Head of Solutions at Leju, will deliver keynote speeches. They will outline China's humanoid robotics strategies, commercialization pathways, and international growth plans.
AGIBOT, which claims to lead globally in robot shipments and market share, will demonstrate its X2 and G2 humanoid models. Unitree will showcase its G1 robot, while Leju will present the Kuavo 4th Generation Pro and Kuavo 4 Pro models.
Huawei, a major force in China's core technology development, will highlight real-world applications of its integrated humanoid robotics technologies.
The event will also feature academic perspectives. Yan Weixin, Chief Scientist at the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) Institute of Robotics, will share insights from China's robotics research and industry. Additionally, Hyung-kwan Shin, CEO of China Capital Markets Lab, will present on "China's Humanoid Robotics Industry: Current Status and Ecosystem" and moderate the conference.
