NVIDIA DLSS 5 ushers real-time rendering into neural network era, a GPT moment for graphics

The core breakthrough of DLSS5 lies in its real-time neural network rendering model. Unlike traditional per-pixel computation, it uses generative AI to bring Hollywood-grade lighting and material realism to game visuals. Jensen Huang explained that DLSS5 enhances visual realism while preserving the precise control artists need for creative expression. With AI, complex physical lighting effects are no longer performance killers but accessible visual spectacles.
