The global AI industry’s deepening development is driving a new boom in computing power infrastructure. OpenAI has pledged to fully deploy NVIDIA’s AI infrastructure by 2030, building a world-class AI factory at PORTS-Pike using NVIDIA’s DSX platform. The project will initially deliver 4.25 gigawatts of capacity, expanding to 16 gigawatts later. This development is shifting the computing power industry’s competition focus from chip performance to system capabilities such as super nodes and software adaptation, with increased investment from cloud vendors. Domestic supply chain firms are also gaining ground; MEGAMIT has secured bulk orders for its GB300 products and is working with top North American cloud providers on its VeraRubin supply, while Shengyi Technology is the only Chinese company certified for NVIDIA’s M9-level copper-clad boards, entering high-end AI server supply chains. The related industry is expected to see long-term growth.
