Tencent Robotics X and HuanYuan launched HY-Embodied-0.5, a foundational model for embodied intelligence. It addresses general VLMs' lack of 3D spatial and physical interaction skills. The series includes the edge-focused MoT-2B and the high-performance MoE-32B. The models use a novel hybrid Transformer and over 100 million specialized data points. In tests, they outperformed rivals in key benchmarks and practical tasks like packing, advancing robots from simulation to real-world operation.
