Tencent Cloud Development has unveiled a major update today, significantly accelerating the WeChat AI Mini Program Growth Plan. To ensure developers' innovative ideas are never constrained by computing limits, Tencent is providing up to 1 billion tokens in model quotas free of charge to all industry developers.
Additionally, the free quota for AI-generated images has been increased from 10,000 to 100,000 images. This enhancement allows developers to substantially reduce initial R&D and operational costs when accessing top-tier AI capabilities.
Core Models: Comprehensive Upgrades
Beyond this generous resource allocation, the growth plan has also received a complete technical upgrade. The AI models embedded in mini programs have been updated to Tencent's latest generation Huan Yuan Hy3 model and the Hy Image 3.0 image generation model.
These flagship models bring more intelligent text understanding and diverse, realistic image generation effects to mini programs. All successfully applied resource packages are valid for 6 months, and all developers across the industry and all categories can participate without any barriers.
Zero-Barrier Support for the Entire Industry
To support new developers who lack a cloud development environment, Tencent has introduced a free 6-month personal environment gift. For existing users with an environment, the system will automatically perform configuration upgrades or directly issue a 120 yuan coupon, which also includes the AI resource package offered in this promotion.
