Tencent ima Fully Releases Copilot and Launches Knowledge Sharing Platform
ima, an AI knowledge management platform, announced today that it has removed the queue for its highly anticipated AI Agent product, Copilot, making it fully accessible. Previously, due to features like memory and personalization, over 100,000 users had joined the waitlist.
ima Copilot is positioned as a "knowledge agent that understands you and helps you get things done." It features continuously evolving memory and full-scenario perception, while seamlessly accessing content from users' knowledge bases. It also supports external model API integration and custom function extensions (Skills). In a live demo, Copilot automatically completed a series of complex tasks—browsing the web, conducting online research, combining with the knowledge base, generating visual reports, and saving them—significantly boosting workflow automation.

Meanwhile, ima rolled out another key update: knowledge accounts now support publishing Skills. Users can turn their proven, reusable workflow processes—such as automatically handling weekly report tasks—into "Skills" and share them in the Skills section of the "Knowledge Square." This shift extends ima's platform positioning from managing "knowledge content" to accumulating and circulating "knowledge capabilities." Now, users can discover and adopt efficient skills shared by others (e.g., official Skills like "WeChat Reading" and "Tencent Recruitment"), and also transform their own workflows into products.
This move marks ima's evolution from a traditional knowledge management tool into a "knowledge + Agent" platform that integrates knowledge accumulation, intelligent retrieval, and capability sharing. Users can now update ima to the latest version and immediately experience the fully open Copilot and the new Skills ecosystem.
