Operator Falls Short of $200 Monthly ChatGPT Pro Subscription Value - Here's Why

This feature is handy for recurring tasks, allowing you to quickly rerun or schedule them as needed.
Baby Steps
At this stage, Operator feels like it's taking baby steps. I'd love to see it tackle more complex tasks, like sorting through my 51,000 marketing emails in Gmail, labeling press releases, or even categorizing AI-related content. These tasks are beyond its current capabilities but might be feasible in the future.
There's also that sci-fi horror part of my brain that's a bit freaked out about AI surfing the web. It opens up potential risks, especially if we ever get sentient AI. But for now, it's fascinating to watch an AI navigate a recipe site and fill an Instacart cart.
What are your thoughts? If Operator becomes available at $20 per month, do you see yourself using it? Are you concerned about its implications? Share your thoughts below.

I was so hyped for Operator, but $200 a month? 😅 That’s a hard pass for now. The demos look cool, but I’m not sold on it being worth that price yet. Maybe when it’s more polished and hits the Plus plan, I’ll give it a spin.
The $200 price tag for Operator is wild! I watched the demos and it’s cool, but feels like a cash grab for early adopters. Curious if it’ll ever be worth it for regular users like me. 🤔
Operator sounds cool, but $200 a month? Ouch! Watched the demos, and it’s not blowing my mind enough to justify that price tag. Maybe when it hits the Plus plan, I’ll give it a spin. 😕
Operator sounds cool, but $200 a month? No way I’m paying that just to test a browser bot! 😅 I’ll stick to my $20 plan and wait for the Plus version.
Operator sounds cool, but $200 a month? No way, that’s like buying a fancy coffee machine every month! I’d rather stick with the $20 Plus plan and see if it gets better. 😕
