Recently, OpenAI quietly acquired a small startup called Weights.gg. While the exact financial terms and conditions remain undisclosed, the team and all intellectual property have been absorbed into the company.
What did Weights.gg do? In short, it built a community platform centered on AI models, and offered a free app called Replay with voice cloning as its core feature. The company shut down all services this March.
