Veteran's Return: Hugo Barra's "Third Act" at Meta
The most notable part of this acquisition is Dreamer's co-founder, former Xiaomi Global Vice President Hugo Barra. This industry veteran, whose career includes Google's Android team, Xiaomi, and Meta's VR division (which he left in 2021), has officially rejoined Meta after five years. He will join the "Super Intelligence Lab" under Meta's Chief AI Officer Alexandr Wang, focusing on AI agent research and development alongside other cutting-edge projects.

Beyond Hugo Barra, Dreamer's leadership team is equally impressive. Its co-founders include David Singleton, former CTO of Stripe and former Vice President of Engineering for Google Android.
