Meta Unveils New AI Creator Assistant Integrated into Facebook Platform
On Thursday, Meta revealed the launch of a new AI creator assistant on Facebook, designed to provide creators with personalized suggestions tailored to their content style, performance metrics, community engagement, and strategic goals.
Currently, creators often need to analyze complex charts and dashboards to gain insights into their performance. However, this new AI assistant enables them to obtain quick answers to questions such as “When is the best time to post?” and “What are users saying in my comments?”
Because the assistant operates in a conversational format, creators can ask follow-up questions and explore topics more deeply, such as tracking how their audience composition has changed over time. The responses it provides are informed by each creator’s specific profile and potential areas for improvement.
In addition to performance analysis, the AI assistant helps creators generate ideas for new content by identifying current trends. For instance, it may recommend using popular audio tracks or creating content around timely cultural events.

The new assistant is currently being rolled out to creators in the United States, Canada, and India. Meta intends to add additional features and expand its availability to more countries in the future.
By providing creators with access to this AI assistant, Meta aims to keep them active on Facebook as it competes for their attention from platforms such as TikTok and YouTube. Moreover, by offering content ideas, Facebook encourages more frequent posting, which can enhance overall user engagement.
Having access to an AI assistant directly within the app eliminates the need for creators to rely on third-party tools like ChatGPT for brainstorming or performance analysis, keeping them fully integrated within Meta’s ecosystem.
Meta also announced the addition of new languages for AI translation on Facebook, including Arabic, Indonesian, French, Thai, and Vietnamese. With this feature, creators can upload Reels that are automatically translated while preserving their original tone and audio. Launched last year, the goal of this capability is to help creators reach broader audiences by overcoming language barriers.
Creators also have the option to use a lip-sync function to align the translated text with their facial movements, resulting in a more natural presentation.
According to Meta, over half a billion users on Facebook currently watch AI-translated videos on a weekly basis.
