Today, Green Link officially announced a deep strategic collaboration with MiniMax , becoming the first NAS brand to natively integrate large models. Their joint application, "Lobster (OpenClaw)", aims to simplify the AI experience for NAS users with an incredibly straightforward interface.
Previously, adding AI to a NAS often required tedious Docker environment setups or complex API configurations. Lobster (OpenClaw) streamlines this entirely. Users simply install it from the Green Link UGOS Pro app center, and the model runs directly within their private cloud. From summarizing lengthy documents and crafting creative copy to analyzing complex code, tasks are handled swiftly and privately.
To let more users experience this "computing freedom," MiniMax and Green Link are offering a special promotion: until April 12, 2026, all Green Link NAS users can enjoy a 30-day free trial. This "try-before-you-commit" approach is set to accelerate AI adoption for homes and small businesses.
Reports indicate this feature will first be available on Green Link's DXP series and the upcoming iDX series. As the NAS evolves from a simple data vault into an intelligent, logical private brain, this local AI upgrade may well define the next standard for private clouds in 2026.
