Lingguang App Refreshes Circle Community With Hot List, Follow Features and PC Support

On July 16, AIBase discovered that Ant Group’s full-modal AI assistant, the "Lingguang App," has updated its instant application community, "Lingguang Circle." This latest version introduces features like a "Hot List," "Editor's Picks," and the ability to "Follow Creators." Additionally, it now allows PC users to upload multi-modal files, such as documents and images, to generate applications. Users can create intelligent Q&A bots or build AI apps based on local files, significantly boosting the efficiency of discovering AI tools and enhancing the creative experience.

Lingguang Circle serves as an open community for AI application creation within the Lingguang App. Users can generate lightweight, interactive "instant applications" through text or voice conversations, then publish, use, save, comment on, and remix them within the community. As the library of applications expands, efficiently helping users find high-quality content has become a key challenge. This update addresses this by focusing on three core areas: content discovery, creator connectivity, and application creation.

To improve content discovery, Lingguang Circle has launched the "Hot List" and "Editor's Picks." The "Hot List" ranks popular applications based on community engagement metrics, including browsing, usage, sharing, and comments, allowing users to quickly see trending content. Meanwhile, "Editor's Picks" curates high-quality applications around specific themes, helping users uncover valuable content more effectively.

The "Follow Creators" feature deepens community connections. After finding high-quality applications, users can follow creators to stay updated on their latest works and announcements. Creators, in turn, can build a follower base by consistently sharing content, thereby increasing their personal influence and community engagement. Combined with existing search and category browsing tools, users can now more precisely locate and access engaging AI application content.

Regarding creation tools, the PC version of Lingguang App now supports uploading images, documents, and other files during conversations to enhance content understanding, information extraction, and response accuracy. Furthermore, when creating an instant application, users can upload documents or spreadsheets in formats like docx, xls, csv, pdf, and txt. This allows Lingguang to analyze the text and data, assisting in generating instant applications tailored to specific tasks. Users can also import personal media, such as images, audio, and video, into their instant applications—for instance, adding custom sound effects or visual assets to interactive games—making AI application creation and interaction more personalized. These file upload and application creation features are currently available on PC, with mobile functionality expected soon.
