Join Our New Program: Startups Using AI to Enhance U.S. Infrastructure

AI is set to revolutionize the foundational systems that keep the U.S. running smoothly. Across the nation, startups are harnessing the power of AI to enhance public services, making them more efficient, effective, and fair for everyone—from road maintenance to educational improvements. To support these innovators as they tackle public sector challenges, we're excited to announce the launch of Google for Startups AI Academy: American Infrastructure. This unique, equity-free initiative is all about empowering startups to responsibly innovate and build an AI-enhanced future that uplifts communities and enhances lives at local, state, and national levels.
What to Expect from the AI Academy
Over the course of twelve weeks, selected startups will dive into hands-on training with our AI experts. They'll benefit from a comprehensive AI curriculum crafted by our People + AI Research (PAIR) team, along with specialized sales and go-to-market workshops. But that's not all—participants will also get access to the latest Google AI tools, exclusive industry insights, and valuable connections. And the best part? Even after the program ends, startups can continue to leverage these resources as part of the Google for Startups alumni community.
Who We're Working With
Google for Startups is already making waves with infrastructure-focused tech companies like JustAir, which uses AI to keep an eye on air pollution; Cambio, working to reduce the carbon footprint of commercial real estate; and Sensagrate, striving to cut down traffic fatalities. For this AI Academy, we're thrilled to collaborate more deeply with additional U.S.-based startups that are focused on using AI to increase productivity and address critical issues in American industries such as:
- Agriculture
- Disaster prevention and response
- Energy
- Education
- Environment and sustainability
- Healthcare
- Public safety
- Smart manufacturing and logistics
- Telecommunications
- Transportation
- Urban development
- Water management
- Workforce development and economic opportunity
