Faireez Secures $7.5M Funding for AI-Driven Hotel-Style Housekeeping in Rentals

Faireez, a startup that's all about bringing the luxury of a 5-star hotel's housekeeping to multifamily buildings, has just stepped out of stealth mode. They've secured a cool $7.5 million in seed funding, and they shared this exciting news exclusively with TechCrunch.
Launched in 2023 and based in New York, Faireez is all about tailoring cleaning services to fit the unique needs of each building. They've introduced a subscription model where each building gets its very own dedicated housekeeper, affectionately called a "fairy," who delivers personalized and consistent service to all subscribed residents.
Living in a high-rise apartment or condo? Faireez makes it super easy for residents to schedule cleaning through their website or app. What's cool is that you can book based on specific tasks, like having your dishes cleaned daily or your floors mopped weekly, rather than by the hour.
While co-founders Omer Agiv and Ori Fingerer kept their revenue numbers under wraps, they did mention that Faireez has cozy relationships with the top 50 property management companies and landlords. They're offering their services as an amenity across four states: New York, New Jersey, Florida, and Illinois. Some of the big names they work with include Silverstein Properties, Charney Companies, First Service Residential, Ironstate, and BNE, managing a whopping 1 million multifamily units together.
Faireez isn't just about cleaning; they're also diving into the world of AI. They've developed an AI-powered auto scan technology that analyzes residents' homes via video to craft personalized cleaning plans. This feature is set to roll out later this year, according to the founders.
"That dynamic pricing will turn housekeeping into a SKU-based service so that there is a price tag for every chore," Fingerer explained to TechCrunch. "Our engine will price the chore by size and that will change based on supply and demand."
They've also got an AI quality assurance system in place. Each cleaning visit is documented with time-stamped photos, which are then analyzed by AI for quality control and shared through real-time notifications.
Faireez partners with large professional companies and handpicks the top 5% of employees to be their fairies. These workers follow the same protocols, wear the same uniforms, and use the same equipment as each other.
"The same fairy comes every time so that builds an element of trust," Agiv noted. "And we use an AI-based image engine to make sure that the chores are performed the same way every time. Consistency is very important."
And it's not just about the service; the fairies are paid well too, earning 30% to 40% more than the market average and being eligible for bonuses.
Looking ahead, Faireez plans to introduce robotic companions to help with basic chores. These robots will be remotely operated by housekeepers in places like Mexico, assisting U.S. homes. Their ambitious goal? To service one million multifamily units by 2030.
Currently, Faireez employs 12 people and plans to use their new capital for more R&D on their technology and to expand across the U.S. They're eyeing four more states for 2026, though they're keeping those locations a secret for now, just hinting at a move to the West Coast.
This isn't the first rodeo for Agiv and Fingerer; they previously founded WeissBeerger, an Israeli data company for the beer industry, which was sold to Anheuser-Busch for $80 million in 2018.
"Both companies [Faireez and Weissbeerger] are examples of bringing high tech into a low-tech space," said Fingerer. "And when you look at the thing that people are spending time on, you find that daily chores are one of them. The average American spends 4.2 years throughout their lifetime doing chores."
Aristagora VC led Faireez's seed round, with additional investments from Longevity Venture Partners, Hetz Ventures, Secret Chord Ventures, RE Angels, NFX founding partner Gigi Levy-Weiss, and others.
Moshe Sarfati, managing partner at Aristagora VC, told TechCrunch that he believes Faireez is "revolutionizing a 1,000-year-old industry."
"Basically they have what it takes to be a game changer in this 'blue ocean space of residential buildings' amenities," he said.

Also, jetzt gibt's Hotel-Sutendienst für Mietwohnungen?
This is wild! AI-powered housekeeping that feels like a 5-star hotel? Faireez is onto something big with that $7.5M. Curious how their 'fairy' cleaners will vibe with robotic helpers. Sounds like my dream home setup! 😍
