DingTalk Launches Wukong AI Native Platform as Alibaba Advances Enterprise AI Agent Strategy
On March 17, DingTalk officially launched its AI-native work platform, "Wukong," at the 2026 DingTalk AI 2.0 Annual New Product Launch. The platform was introduced by DingTalk's founder and CEO, Chen Hang, signifying the formal execution of Alibaba's strategic vision for the enterprise-level AI Agent market.

Functioning as a 24/7 AI assistant, "Wukong" operates seamlessly on both PC and mobile devices, enabling users to issue complex commands directly within DingTalk. Its core technology transcends traditional office constraints, allowing for continuous, autonomous operation and the genuine integration of AI Agents into corporate workflows.
Concurrently, Alibaba Group has undertaken significant organizational changes. On the evening of March 16, Alibaba announced the formation of the Alibaba Token Hub (ATH) business group, overseen directly by CEO Wu Yongming, with the primary objective of "creating, delivering, and applying Tokens." The newly established "Wukong Business Unit" is positioned as an AI-native platform for business clients, aiming to deeply convert the token capabilities of large language models into tangible productivity. Wu Yongming emphasized that before the arrival of AGI, billions of AI Agents will serve as the primary interface for human interaction with the digital world.
Industry analysts suggest Alibaba's strategy is to develop Agent capabilities that surpass OpenClaw via DingTalk, with plans to integrate services from Taobao, Alibaba Cloud, and other ecosystem partners to reshape the business-to-business landscape.
