Apple Enhances Vision Pro with AI
Apple dropped some big news on Monday about visionOS 2.4, which is now bringing Apple Intelligence-powered AI features to the Apple Vision Pro. This update isn't just about AI; it also introduces fresh spatial experiences and a new Apple Vision Pro app for iPhone users.
With Apple Intelligence on the Apple Vision Pro, you can now use AI-powered writing tools to rewrite, proofread, and summarize text. Plus, you'll have access to Image Playground and Genmoji, which let you whip up unique AI-generated images and emojis. Pretty cool, right?
But that's not all. You can now use natural language search in the Photos app to find specific images just by describing them. And with a new Apple Intelligence feature rolling out today, Vision Pro users can create a "Memory Movie" based on their photos and videos around specific themes.
visionOS 2.4 also packs in some handy features like Priority Messages in Mail, Mail Summaries, Image Wand in Notes, Priority Notifications in Notification Center, and Notification Summaries.

On the spatial experiences front, Apple's launching the Spatial Gallery app, which gives you a library of spatial content covering art, culture, nature, sports, entertainment, and more. Apple promises to keep the app fresh with regular updates.
The new Apple Vision Pro app for iPhone lets you do all sorts of things, like queuing apps to download, checking out info about your Vision Pro, and finding tips to make your experience even better. The app's got a Discover page that highlights new experiences on Apple Vision Pro, like popular apps and games.
Apple also announced today that they're rolling out new Apple Intelligence features, including a "Priority Notifications" feature that helps you manage your notifications by prioritizing important alerts and cutting down on distractions from less important ones on your Lock Screen.
And here's some good news for folks outside the U.S.: Apple is expanding Apple Intelligence access to the EU and adding support for new languages like French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese (simplified).

Finally! I've been waiting for Apple to bring AI features to Vision Pro. The spatial experiences sound cool, but I'm more curious about how the Apple Intelligence integration will actually feel in daily use. Will it be genuinely helpful or just another gimmick? The iPhone app is a smart move though, makes the whole ecosystem feel more connected. 🤔
