Alibaba Unveils World's First 3D Native City World Model ABot-Earth0.5 Now Open for Internal Testing
On June 8, Amap, an Alibaba Group company, unveiled ABot-Earth0.5, the world's first 3D native city world model. This marks a major breakthrough in spatial intelligence for city-level 3D reconstruction.
Currently, ABot-Earth0.5 has built the world's most extensive 3D map, covering over 190 countries and regions. Acting as a highly automated digital factory, it dramatically boosts the efficiency of 3D spatial data production. With just a satellite image or text description, a single consumer-grade GPU can generate a kilometer-scale 3D city scene in under 10 minutes.

Importantly, the model's output uses the editable 3DGS (3D Gaussian Splatting) format, allowing seamless integration into popular game and real-time rendering engines like Unity and Unreal Engine for interactive development.
From an industrial standpoint, ABot-Earth0.5 not only upends traditional modeling cost structures but also strongly supports advanced applications such as embodied intelligence, low-altitude economy, film and gaming, and emergency rescue. It delivers high-precision 3D geographic infrastructure for autonomous driving, low-altitude route planning, and digital twin cities.
The model is currently available for internal testing. Amap has announced plans to continue iterating and enhancing its generation accuracy, accelerating the path for ABot-Earth0.5 to become a universally accessible infrastructure across industries, and advancing the commercialization of spatial generative AI.
