At China Restaurant Chain Summit 2026, MiTuo's senior VP Li Shubin said catering merchants' priority in AI era is building foundational local-life information infrastructure, not flashy tech upgrades. He emphasized AI needs accurate digitization of store details like menus and ambiance to match complex consumer requests. MiTuo's platform Dazhong Dianping will invest an additional 3B yuan over five years to upgrade this infrastructure, helping merchants transform physical data into AI-readable assets. The goal is to provide every merchant with an AI assistant for handling customer needs and operations.
