Yushu Technology Unveils World's First Mass-Produced Transformable Human-Carrying Robot GD01
Unitree Technology unveiled the GD01 on May 12, the world's first mass-produced manned transformable robot. This launch signifies the move of humanoid robots integrated with general artificial intelligence (AGI) from lab research to the consumer market. Priced from 3.9 million yuan, the GD01 is a transformable personal mobility vehicle. Its technical design enables seamless transitions between bipedal walking and quadrupedal movement modes.

The robot's hardware architecture boasts exceptional power density and structural integrity. With an approximate total weight of 500 kg when carrying a passenger, its tested power output is robust enough to break through brick walls. Operators interact via an integrated control seat, which improves handling on complex terrain while maintaining system stability during shape-shifting maneuvers. From a technological standpoint, the GD01 represents more than a mechanical advancement. It embodies a sophisticated fusion of environmental perception and real-time power allocation algorithms, marking a significant step for humanoid robots into the realm of heavy-duty, manned machinery.
