Xiaohongshu announced a major organizational restructuring through an internal letter, aimed at fully integrating its community, e-commerce, and commercialization operations. Central to this upgrade is the creation of an AI-focused department called "Dots" and the Enterprise Intelligence Department, reinforcing the company's commitment to artificial intelligence technology. This move marks a significant step for Xiaohongshu in advancing technological innovation and business collaboration.
The newly established Dots department will oversee AI model development, infrastructure, engineering implementation, and product applications, forming a complete AI end-to-end system. It will report directly to the new president, Nana (Ding Ling). Meanwhile, the Enterprise Intelligence Department combines the former Enterprise Efficiency and Data Science departments, designed to provide a more suitable organizational structure and talent support for the company's growth in the AI era.
In this personnel reshuffle, Nana has been appointed president, responsible for Xiaohongshu's core businesses and reporting directly to CEO Xingzhi. Mulan continues to serve as chair of the board. CMO Zhiheng will lead advertising commercialization and e-commerce transactions, while Palu oversees community user experience and ecosystem development. Xiahou will be in charge of algorithm-related operations.
The restructuring also includes the establishment of an overseas division, "Rednote," focused on driving international business expansion and bringing Xiaohongshu's lifestyle community model to global markets. Additionally, the new Lab 1327 team, led by product design director Sakuraki, will concentrate on incubating new products, providing necessary resources and support for innovative projects.
