WeCom Enterprise WeChat Launches Large Circle Beta: One Swipe Left, AI Manages Clients and Writes Summaries
Following the launch of internal testing for WeChat's personal AI Agent, "Xiaowei," Enterprise WeChat also began internal testing today of its own AI Agent, codenamed "Dayuan." This product is positioned as an AI assistant seamlessly embedded into Enterprise WeChat workflows, designed to automatically interpret user requests and generate responses based on existing work data—including group chats, documents, meetings, emails, and schedules.
Activate with a left swipe, interact with AI as naturally as chatting
In terms of interaction, "Dayuan" is tightly woven into daily Enterprise WeChat operations. On mobile, users simply swipe left to activate the feature, and the system intelligently identifies the current screen and the question being asked. When group chat messages pile up, a left swipe and a query like "What are they discussing?" prompts the AI to automatically summarize. When receiving a complex data report, another left swipe allows the AI to extract key findings. On mobile, "Dayuan" can be activated from multiple entry points—such as the message page or chat windows—without the need to open a separate AI tool. This makes it feel like a naturally embedded part of the workflow rather than an external addition.
More than an internal assistant—it helps frontline employees manage client relationships
Given Enterprise WeChat's inherent connection to WeChat, "Dayuan" will not only serve internal collaboration but also extend into customer management scenarios. According to feedback from internal test participants, the currently gray-scale tested "Service Summary" feature automatically extracts customer needs, deal intentions, and potential obstacles during employee-customer interactions, periodically pushing suggestions for following up on key accounts. Customer groups and information can be automatically stored in AI-powered tables, forming a unified management center. These smart tables go beyond summarizing follow-up status; they generate data analysis dashboards that break down customer intent, conversion funnels, and service quality.
Previously, the massive volumes of communication records between sales, customer service, and customers required significant manual effort to identify customer intent, track follow-up progress, and recall key points from past conversations. With the introduction of the AI Agent, these customer conversation data can be understood and organized automatically, transforming scattered, unstructured communication into reusable customer profiles, follow-up summaries, and business insights—a capability that is especially critical for enterprises heavily reliant on Enterprise WeChat for private domain operations.
