Vbot VITA Power Raises Nearly 500 Million Yuan in Pre-A Funding, Begins Mass Delivery of First Embodied Intelligence Product
Vbot Weita Power, a pioneer in embodied intelligence, has secured nearly 500 million yuan in pre-A financing. Dongfang Jiafu, Huatai Zijin, and Fosun Ruizheng led the round, with additional backing from Shangqi Capital (SAIC Group) and existing shareholders who increased their stakes. This investment marks the largest single funding event in the global consumer-level embodied intelligence sector. On May 8, Vbot launched its inaugural product, "Super Dog," into mass production and delivery. The initial batch of 500 units has been shipped, signaling the transition of embodied robots from labs to everyday environments.

Released in December 2025, Vbot’s robot dog is the world’s first smart quadruped operating without remote control. Its core features—full-scenario companionship, autonomous carrying, and AI filming—drove strong pre-sale demand. Within the limited pre-sale window, the product garnered 6,540 orders totaling nearly 100 million yuan, setting a new sales benchmark for high-end embodied intelligence devices. Vbot has established offline stores in major cities like Beijing and Shanghai, with plans to boost monthly production to over 2,500 units by June to accelerate user adoption.
Technologically, Vbot is evolving from quadrupedal designs to full-size humanoid robots. Founder Dr. Yu Yinan emphasizes that real-world data loops from mass production are essential for physical AI evolution. Future R&D will focus on hand-foot integrated world models, the Agentic OS embodied operating system, and general service capabilities. This shift from specialized tools to general intelligent agents validates the commercial potential of embodied intelligence and highlights the industry’s move from hardware manufacturing to building a physical-world AI ecosystem.
