TikTok One: New AI-Powered Creator Marketplace Launched

TikTok's gearing up to close down its Creator Marketplace, and they've let businesses and creators know through an email. This platform, which hooks up brands with creators for ad collabs and other sponsorships, won't be accepting new creator invites or starting new campaigns come Saturday, according to the company.
Come April 1, the Creator Marketplace will be history, and anyone trying to visit the site will be sent over to the new TikTok One creative platform instead.
Even though the standalone marketplace is on its way out, TikTok's still got plans to keep brands and creators connected through TikTok One. Plus, this new service is set to help video creators get inspired, keep up with trends, and link up with other pros to craft those "native-looking" TikTok videos for their ad campaigns.
The site's got a TikTok trend tracker that highlights the top trends, user-generated content, creators, hashtags, and songs. It also dishes out advice on how to make the most of TikTok's creative tools, ad products, and business accounts, and more.
AI's playing a big role in TikTok One, too.
As part of this shift, TikTok's Video Generator tool, where folks could upload videos and add music, is also shutting down. The tool won't be available on the TikTok Creative Center after Friday, the website says.
Instead, users are being pointed towards TikTok's AI-powered Symphony Creative Studio.
Over there, marketers can tap into a new AI assistant called the Symphony Assistant. It can help them sum up trends, whip up TikTok-native scripts, brainstorm ideas, and more. They can also make TikTok-style videos using AI inputs. Sometimes, the AI might remix the brand's existing footage, and other times, it might use digital avatars to pitch the product.
Videos can be jazzed up with captions, voices, music, and stickers, and even translated into other languages.
The AI-powered Symphony features also reach into TikTok's Ads Manager, where marketers can whip up ads with just a few inputs and then fine-tune them with the suggestions given. They can also make more tweaks using other AI-powered features.
Another handy tool, the Script Generator, can churn out a TikTok video script once the advertiser pops in details like the product name, description, and industry, among other things.
Before the standalone Creator Marketplace shuts down, TikTok's nudging advertisers to move their data from the site (or another dashboard called the TikTok Creative Challenge) over to TikTok One.
The company first spilled the beans about moving the Creator Marketplace to TikTok One back in May last year.
