Tencent QClaw Opens Public Beta Without Invitation Code, AI Crawfish Lets You Control PC via WeChat
Tencent AI officially announced that its AI assistant product QClaw has entered open beta. The previous invitation-only testing phase is over, and now anyone can download and use it without an invitation code.
Tencent further highlighted the product's core features: “Think of the lobster as your digital twin in QClaw. It can summarize chats, draft replies, schedule meetings, and write documents.” The accompanying image depicts a pixel-style cozy office scene with an anthropomorphic lobster sitting on a sofa. The chat interface showcases its powerful capabilities: web search, file reading, writing, and editing, Shell command execution, browser automation, calendar management, cross-platform messaging (Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, etc.), reminders, weather inquiries, text-to-speech, news summaries, and cloud storage uploads—covering everything from basic office tasks to complex workflows.
QClaw is developed by Tencent's Computer Manager team, built on the open-source OpenClaw framework as a one-click local AI intelligent agent. It emphasizes "WeChat direct connection + zero-threshold deployment."
