Microsoft Enhances AI on Intel, AMD Copilot PCs
Microsoft is rolling out its AI goodies to Copilot Plus PCs that run on Intel and AMD chips, and one of the coolest new tricks is Live Captions. This feature turns audio from a whole bunch of languages into English subtitles on the fly. Microsoft kicked off testing Live Captions on Intel and AMD machines back in December, and now you can get it with the latest Windows 11 update. That same update also brings Cocreator to Paint, an AI tool that whips up an image from your text description and whatever you're doodling at the moment. Plus, Microsoft is opening up its AI image editor and generator in the Photos app to more folks.

Before this, you could only enjoy these features on Copilot Plus PCs with Qualcomm chips. Microsoft also started messing around with Recall, an AI feature that snaps screenshots of your activity on a Copilot Plus PC and lets you dig through them later, on Intel and AMD devices last year. But, no news yet on when it'll be available for everyone.
On another note, Microsoft is tweaking Voice Access, which lets folks control their PC with their voice, on Qualcomm-powered Copilot Plus PCs. They're saying that users will now be able to chat with their PCs using more natural and flexible language. They're also throwing in the ability to translate 27 languages into Simplified Chinese. Microsoft's got plans to bring both of these updates to Intel and AMD devices down the road.

Live Captions sound awesome! 😎 Real-time subtitles for so many languages? That’s a game-changer for watching foreign vids or meetings. Wonder how accurate it is with tricky accents though.
Microsoft's AI on Intel and AMD Copilot PCs is pretty cool, especially the Live Captions feature. It's super handy for understanding different languages on the fly. But sometimes the translations are a bit off, which can be confusing. Still, it's a great tool for multilingual environments! 👍
