Meta has just rolled out its AI-powered chatbot, Meta AI, to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, making it accessible to millions of new users. Back in October, Meta kicked things off by introducing Meta AI in six new markets, like Brazil and the U.K., and hinted at further expansion into places like MENA.

Now, folks in Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Libya, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Yemen can get their hands on Meta AI. Plus, Meta's throwing in support for Arabic to make things even more user-friendly.

Want to use it? Just tag @meta in your chats on apps like Instagram, WhatsApp, or Messenger (though, keep in mind, availability might differ depending on where you are). You can ask it to suggest cool places to visit nearby or even help you pick the perfect tunes for your road trip playlist. Meta's got plans to spice things up with more features in MENA, like "Imagine Me," which whips up some artsy selfies, and audio dubbing for Instagram Reels.

With this latest move, Meta AI is now rocking it in 42 countries, supporting 13 languages, and already has around 700 million users across its various apps, including WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, and good ol' Facebook.

Just a heads up, though—the features you get might not be the same everywhere. For example, in some European countries, Meta AI on Ray-Ban Meta AR glasses is limited to answering general questions because of data privacy laws.

Finally, Meta AI in Arabic! It's super handy for quick chats, but sometimes the responses feel a bit off. Still, it's a huge step forward for us in the MENA region. Keep up the good work, Meta! 🌟
