Meitu Unveils RoboNeo AI Agent Powered by Alibaba’s HappyHorse Model, Marking a Leap in Video Creation

On April 28, RoboNeo, an AI agent by Meitu Company, announced the integration of HappyHorse, a multimodal video generation model from Alibaba's ATH Innovation Division. Leveraging Seedance 2.0, RoboNeo has significantly enhanced product video creation. This update expands RoboNeo's video capabilities, building on its prior successes in continuous shot generation, audio-visual synchronization, and material consistency.
As a key Meitu AI product, RoboNeo has demonstrated strong global performance since its July 2025 launch. UBS reports nearly fourfold month-over-month global growth in March 2026, with frequent top rankings on app store charts across multiple countries.
This integration of the HappyHorse model underscores Meitu's ongoing enhancement of its core capabilities and highlights the growing collaboration between domestic AI applications and large model technologies. As video generation advances from single-frame to complex semantic understanding and long-form creation, RoboNeo is lowering the barrier to high-quality video production by combining Seedance 2.0's intelligent control with HappyHorse's multimodal generation strengths.
