Meanwhile, the Kuaishou app’s average daily active users (DAU) hit 412 million, with monthly active users (MAU) reaching 797 million.
Artificial intelligence has emerged as a key growth driver for Kuaishou. Specifically, revenue from Kuaishou’s Kling AI exceeded 850 million yuan in Q2, marking over 200% year-over-year growth. By June, Kling AI’s global user base surpassed 100 million across 224 countries and regions, with enterprise customers nearing 50,000.

On the product front, the Kling AI 3.0 series introduced native 4K video output, catering to professional workflows in film and advertising. Kling 3.0 Turbo enhanced video generation efficiency and audio-visual synchronization, while Kling MCP and CLI enable batch calls to AI Agents, streamlining automated creation processes.
Kuaishou emphasized that AI is deeply embedded in its internal R&D and business operations. By June, over 92% of employees were using self-developed AI Agents, and AI-generated code accounted for 60% of contributions from R&D staff. In Q2, the average delivery cycle for R&D projects shortened by more than 10% compared to Q1, while AI-assisted R&D personnel saw a code submission increase of over 70% quarter-over-quarter.
Operationally, AI has boosted content production and commercial efficiency. Lowering creative barriers, Kuaishou has seen rapid growth in short dramas and manga dramas, with the latter expected to reach 500,000 titles in 2026. By June, the supply of real-person and AI-generated short dramas had grown more than fivefold since the start of the year, while Q2 online marketing spend on short dramas surged by over 100% year-over-year.
Additionally, Kuaishou leveraged AI to optimize marketing and e-commerce operations. In Q2, AIGC-based short video marketing spend grew by more than 70% year-over-year. In the first half of 2026, over 850,000 merchants utilized Kuaishou’s AI business tools, covering product selection, material creation, business diagnostics, and intelligent customer service.
Financially, Kuaishou held 121.3 billion yuan in available cash by the end of June, with Q2 operating cash flow at 5.9 billion yuan. The company also completed approximately 2 billion Hong Kong dollars in share repurchases and 3 billion Hong Kong dollars in cash dividends this year.
