Target local web data without global uploads
According to Google's official update, users can use the cursor to precisely outline specific areas within the Chrome browser. The selected text or image is automatically attached and combined in real time with the user's input prompt.
While this logic resembles Google Lens, its core advantage is avoiding redirection to traditional search results. Instead, it feeds selected local content directly into the conversational AI architecture, enabling more targeted answers to specific details.
Enhancing three scenarios for innovative edge experiences
This feature delivers an intuitive upgrade, such as selecting multiple shoes on an e-commerce site for AI analysis of which best suits a user's sports style. Users can also select complex charts for clearer explanations or choose webpage design elements for creative reshaping.
