In early internal tests, GPT-5.4 demonstrated markedly higher success rates in managing multi-step tasks, allowing for more accurate execution of complex logical reasoning and cross-tool operations.
Technically, GPT-5.4 builds upon and enhances the specialized strengths of the Codex series, embedding them deeply within a general-purpose large language model. The model is now fully accessible across all Copilot Pro, Business, and Enterprise subscription plans.
