Dongfeng Taiji AI Model for Vehicles Receives Official Certification
As the automotive industry advances further into the intelligent era, traditional car manufacturers are undergoing AI transformation at an unprecedented pace.
On March 17, the R&D Headquarters of Dongfeng Motor officially announced that its independently developed "Dongfeng Taiji Large Model" system has passed the registration for generative artificial intelligence services with the Cyberspace Administration of China. This milestone signifies Dongfeng Motor 's leadership in establishing compliant, enterprise-grade AI infrastructure for commercial use.

Built on a self-reliant and controllable technology stack, the Taiji Large Model is more than a conversational AI; it is a comprehensive enterprise-level intelligent engine. Leveraging Dongfeng's high-quality datasets and the "Qingtian" computing platform, it features three core capabilities: "multi-modal integration, high-precision interaction, and full-scenario collaboration."

Dongfeng Motor aims to deeply integrate AI across the entire vehicle lifecycle. According to official plans, the Taiji Large Model will enable end-to-end enhancements in the following areas:
R&D and Manufacturing: Boost engineering efficiency through AI-assisted collaboration, from initial design to production.
Intelligent Cockpit: Empower the "Tianyuan Intelligent Cockpit" to deliver a more natural and accurate interactive experience.
Marketing and After-Sales: Streamline office operations and after-sales service logic to improve user satisfaction.
As early as April last year, Dongfeng Motor launched its "Tianyuan Intelligence" technology brand, outlining an intelligent architecture centered on "One Core, Two Bases, Two Elements." The "One Core" refers precisely to the now-registered Taiji Large Model. With this core infrastructure officially certified, Dongfeng's Tianyuan OS, along with its intelligent driving and cockpit applications, is poised for a significant leap in algorithmic performance.
As vehicles evolve from mere transportation tools into continuously upgradable smart entities, Dongfeng is positioning itself at the forefront of this transformation.
