Expert Mode: Tailored for complex logic and in-depth analysis, this mode offers enhanced intelligent search. Currently, it does not support file uploads or multimodal features and may involve wait times during peak usage.
Progress Amidst Challenges: Performance Gains and Service Disruptions
Despite the upcoming model release, DeepSeek's recent performance has been a mix of breakthroughs and setbacks. Users have reported notable improvements in logical reasoning and coding capabilities. However, the platform has also faced significant service disruptions for three consecutive days, including a 12-hour outage. Industry observers view this as the expected "growing pains" during a major model transition.
It is worth noting that the DeepSeek V4 release window is highly competitive.
