Notably, he hinted at a "mostly glass, curved iPhone" with no display cutouts, set to launch during the iPhone's 20th anniversary year. This intriguing detail piqued my interest, especially since the iPhone 15 Pro on my desk is already "mostly glass," with metal only around the camera and its titanium edge. So, what could this new design entail? Perhaps clues lie in Apple's past patents, like the 2019 one that envisioned a phone encased in a continuous loop of glass.
Last weekend, *The Information* chimed in with a report about a 2027 iPhone model featuring a front-facing camera hidden under the screen, enabling a truly edge-to-edge display. This aligns with *The Elec*'s report from late last year, which mentioned Apple's collaboration with display partners to craft a bezel-less iPhone. However, unlike some competitors like Samsung and Vivo, this design won't curve the display down the sides of the phone.
