Anthropic announced today on X that it has significantly upgraded its productivity tool ecosystem. The token limit for Claude Design, its visual creation tool, has been doubled across all subscription plans. Additionally, the Fast Mode of Claude Code now defaults to the latest Opus4.7 model.
This update tackles key pain points for professional users. Claude Design, launched in April, offers dialogue-based design generation, prototyping, and multi-source import. Previously, context limits could interrupt complex projects. Now, the doubled token limits across Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans enable seamless long-context iterations.
With Opus4.7 integrated, Claude Code’s Fast Mode delivers up to 2.5x faster response times, making it more efficient for high-priority tasks like quick code edits and real-time debugging.
Anthropic maintains transparent pricing: Opus4.7 in Fast Mode costs the same as Opus4.6 — $30 per million input tokens and $150 per million output tokens, with a full 1 million token context window and no rate changes based on length. Both models share the same rate limit pool, so no extra configuration is needed.
