Ant GPASS Enters Smart Glasses Market to Enable Voice-Activated Bike Sharing
Qwen AI glasses have recently integrated with Ant Group's GPASS platform, introducing a suite of "AI services" including shared bike rental and parking fee payment.
Leveraging GPASS's underlying technology, users wearing Qwen AI glasses can now access multiple daily services through simple voice commands. For instance, in a travel scenario, saying "Hello Qwen, I'd like to ride a bike" prompts the glasses to guide the user to scan the vehicle's QR code for verification and unlocking. Upon reaching the destination, the command "Hello Qwen, I want to return the bike" automatically ends the trip and processes the payment. This hands-free process delivers a truly seamless riding experience.

The parking payment feature is also now available on the Qwen AI glasses. When a vehicle enters a parking lot, the glasses will announce the charging start time. To exit, instead of using a phone to scan a code, the user can simply activate the service by voice or by scanning the parking payment code through the glasses to complete the transaction automatically.
GPASS provides the foundational security, connectivity, and interactive capabilities that enable these convenient experiences. It incorporates voiceprint verification, so after the initial binding of an Alipay account, all subsequent payments are automatically secured. Furthermore, GPASS connects the Qwen glasses with Alipay's mobility ecosystem, ensuring smooth data flow between the user's phone, glasses, and the vehicle, with payment notifications received in real time. This is particularly useful for hands-busy scenarios like cycling.
Since its debut at the 2025 Bund Forum, GPASS has been instrumental in evolving AI glasses from basic interactive devices into personal intelligent assistants. Beyond shared biking, GPASS has enabled features like "glance-to-pay" transactions, activation of the AI health assistant "Ant Afu," and digital tour guides. This progression is transforming smart glasses from single-function devices into versatile, portable smart terminals.
