Alibaba has unveiled a major strategic initiative: a plan to deeply integrate its Qwen large language model with Taobao, aiming to fundamentally transform the traditional e-commerce shopping experience through conversational interaction.
Within this new service framework, the consumer shopping journey will become more intuitive and intelligent. Users can complete the entire process from product discovery to checkout simply by conversing within the Qwen app. To support this massive scale of interaction, Qwen has been integrated with a vast database encompassing over 4 billion products. The AI not only provides end-to-end shopping assistance but also delivers intelligent product recommendations based on a precise understanding of user context.
