Adobe Premiere Pro Arrives on iPhone, Bringing Professional Video Editing to Mobile
Adobe's Premiere, the popular video editing software, is now available for iPhone as of today. This follows the company's announcement earlier this month about bringing the app to mobile devices. An Android version is currently in development.
The free Premiere mobile app includes robust editing features such as a multi-track timeline for handling video, audio, music, and text. It supports 4K HDR editing, offers auto-generated captions, and provides tools for adjusting color, shadows, and other elements frame by frame—all optimized for a mobile interface.
Clips recorded on mobile often contain background noise. This app simplifies cleanup with a slider control to reduce noise and enhance dialogue clarity.
Adobe has integrated several AI-powered capabilities. Users can generate background audio from text prompts. For a more hands-on approach, you can hum or sing a melody, and the AI will transform it into a usable sound effect.

Adobe is also providing complimentary access to its stock library, which includes photos, video clips, and sound effects for use in projects.
This new mobile app enables creators to begin editing projects on their phone and seamlessly transfer them to the desktop version via Adobe Cloud. Currently, transferring projects from desktop to mobile is not supported.
