Deezer reports that AI-generated music now accounts for over 50% of its daily uploads, peaking at 90,000 tracks per day in June 2026. The streaming industry lacks consensus on handling AI content: Bandcamp bans it, Tidal blocks monetization, Apple Music uses voluntary tagging, and Spotify has an AI usage policy. Deezer removes AI tracks with no plays in six months and content involving view fraud. CEO Alexis Lanternier said the company is taking additional measures to protect artists' rights.
