SenseTime is secretly developing a design-focused multimodal large model codenamed U1Pro, led by co-founder Lin Dahua to compete with OpenAI's GPT-Image2. It supports long-cycle design-generation-review and 8K resolution. Internal tests show results approaching GPT-Image2, with advantages in some dimensions. Internal invitation testing expected to start in July.
