Pinduoduo issued a notice on May 28 declaring war on illegal AI products and services, explicitly banning AI exam prediction, data poisoning, account management, virtual account resale, and related tools. The platform prioritizes cleaning up AI exam prediction tools and disguised services like "prediction papers." This is the second AI-focused crackdown this month, following an earlier notice on removing AI-generated identifiers. Since early 2024, Pinduoduo has rolled out over 40 comprehensive governance measures covering product access, qualification review, advertising, and IP protection, with special actions targeting food, blind boxes, cosmetics, financial products, publications, and AI services.
