Amazon and Anthropic have signed a 10-year strategic partnership. Anthropic commits to over $100 billion in AWS computing purchases, while Amazon will invest up to $2.5 billion in Anthropic. The deal includes joint development of Amazon's Trainium AI chips and access to 5GW of Trainium clusters, strengthening both companies' positions in generative AI.
