Defense tech firm Anduril is launching the AI Grand Prix, a drone race where AI-piloted drones compete autonomously, diverging from human-operated events. Founder Palmer Luckey says it targets software talent, offering cash prizes and potential jobs. The finals, using smaller drones from Neros Technologies, will be in Ohio in November. Anduril plans future AI races for other autonomous vehicle types. Teams from Russia are barred.
