Former Sequoia partner Kais Khimji launches AI scheduling startup Blockit after reviving a decade-old concept. The company secured a $5 million seed round led by Sequoia. It uses AI agents to autonomously negotiate meeting times between users calendars aiming to surpass current tools like Calendly. Over 200 companies including Togetherai and Brex are already using it.
